Yes, lemon cypress (Cupressus macrocarpa ‘Goldcrest’) is poisonous to cats.

If your feline ingests parts of the lemon cypress plant, it can cause health problems. Lemon cypress contains compounds called monoterpenes, specifically d-limonene, which can be toxic to cats. When cats consume these compounds, it can cause gastrointestinal problems such as vomiting and diarrhea. Lemon cypress can even cause liver damage in cats if consumed in excess.
